Latino Nights with Kiko & Dany. Thurs & Fri @ 10pm.

His Name is Juan Francisco de Jesús (KIKO), born in Higuey, a touristic city in the eastern region of the Dominican Republic. Kiko is a Latino entrepreneur recognized in the city of Montreal, with over 25 years of living in this city, Kiko has always been committed to helping the Latino community in Montreal. A lover of music, he has organized and collaborated in concerts and events such as Xtreme in Montreal, and Mala Fe. He is also recognized as one of the main organizer of the Dominican Parade in Montreal which is held every year.

Kiko is the owner of Garage Kiko, but went back to his passions which he carried within him from a very young age, The Radio. Along with Danny, Kiko & Dany Romanticos is on Thursdays from 10pm to 3am and Las Noches Latinas Kiko & Dany which is on Fridays from 10pm to 6am on 105.1 MIKE FM. But every day, Kiko feels what Latino community in Montreal needs which is to have more air time from there he made another dream come true creating Energie Positive, Monday through Friday from 12 pm to 2:30 pm by 1610AM, and with Sergio, Kiko designs and assembles his Studio on the second floor of the garage, so that he can make his programs directly without leaving the garage. From there, www.elkiko.com was born a few months later, With his Internet radio, he is able to reach the globe and take his message of positive energy to the World.

Kiko et Dany is a show design for the ethnic public in Montreal and specifically to the Latin community. Our objective is to inform and orientate to the newcomers from different parts of the World. This is a very interactive show where people are calling all the time soliciting for their favourite song but most importantly connecting and sending messages to their loved ones through the waves of 105.1 FM. This show is created and produced by Juan Francisco de Jesús(Kiko) and Dany Alvarado and special thanks to Mike FM and Maria Griffiths.

Dany Alvarado

Arrivée du Panama à l’âge de 9 ans, Dany travaille depuis l’âge de 17 ans dans des stations de radio FM montréalaises. Il est fondateur de émissions Dimension Latine et de Kiko et Dany. Animateur et Réalisateur, Dany s’occupe du contenu informatif et musical, du booking d’entrevues, des publicités, des relations publiques et d’animer les émissions latines les plus convoitées présentement dans la métropole. Il parle quatre langues, possède un BAC en gestion d’entreprises, spécialisation Marketing.

En tant qu’animateur Dany a réalisé des entrevues avec des grands noms de la scène musicale latine tels que : Ricky Martin, Shakira, Aventura, ainsi que plusieurs autres. Comme animateur, il a eu l’opportunité d’être maître de cérémonie pour plusieurs événements tels que : le Festival de Merengue de Montréal et le Festival Rythmes du monde.  Son animation est énergétique, remplie de couleurs et son sens de l’humanité est grandement développé.
